It’s been a while. Two months. Maybe more. Maybe less. Time has slapped me across the face once again with its tendency to pass by so damn quickly. It’s funny how that happens. You just carry on living your life, getting distracted and caught up in the day by day when all of a sudden a day comes when you realise how little is actually left of the year and you are nowhere near where you want to be nor have you achieved all you wanted to achieve.
This blog for example. I have much to catch up on, much to post. So much in fact that I haven’t known where to pick up from and have been avoiding this blog entirely. Silly really. Avoiding the task won’t make it go away.Duh.
On that note…perhaps I’ll start by introducing a very unique, beautiful and incredibly genuine young woman named Ella. Wise beyond her years, 20 year old Ella is a photographer and creative soul with a passion for food, music and the joys that life throws at you. She is simply what you would call….a breath of fresh air.
I spent a few hours with Ella, photographing her in the comfort of my own living room using mainly natural light and later a small LED light shot through an umbrella.
Here are some results:
A few in colour…
and lastly… the tear…
Thank you Ella for being my muse.
